Full-time

Accurat wants to change the way decision making is done by providing real-world behaviour insights. We heavily rely on big data & machine learning. As we raised 1.1 mio euros to cover our growth in the Benelux and towards Europe, we are expanding our team. We are a fast growing company, working for brands including Delhaize, Lidl, Brico, Hubo, Telenet, Aveve, X2O, Clear Channel amongst others.

Are you passionate about technology & data and do you have a solid interest in data engineering? Then Accurat.ai might be your next playground! You will be part of our data team that consists of other skilled data scientists and engineers.

What's on your plate:

  • You gather POI (Point of Interest) data from the web to use as a basis for our insights.
  • You’ll be responsible for the quality of a large database.
  • You build complex frameworks and set up pipelines to maintain and pre-process data.
  • You apply complex analysis to assess the quality of the data.

What we're looking for:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Fluent in python and developing with databases (MySQL).
  • Familiarity with Git and Linux.
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or English.
  • Hands-on attitude and comfortable in a fast-moving start-up environment.

Good to have:

  • Experience with data collection and processing.
  • Experience with (Google) Cloud technology.
  • Proficiency in geo-spatial data processing.
  • Familiarity with data engineering technologies (Dataflow, BigQuery…).

What we offer:

  • A varied and exciting job in a successful, fast-growing start-up.
  • A competitive salary (with benefits).
  • Flexibility in working remote or at our spacious office (Ghent).
  • A young, hands-on team.
  • You work across boundaries (Belgium, the Netherlands and you follow our expansion to the EU step by step).
  • A fun work environment located near Ghent.
  • The expertise and support necessary for your professional growth alongside our company.
  • The trust and freedom to shape a rewarding career in big data and machine learning.
  • Autonomy to define and navigate your own path to success.
  • Occasional parties, snacks and drinks!
  • And most importantly: a team that has your back and supports you!
